Three ingredients, one bowl, and a microwave are all this 3-ingredient fudge asks for, with no stovetop involved. Rich, dense, melt-in-your-mouth, and one batch cuts into three dozen squares.
Line an 8x8-inch glass baking dish with parchment paper. Give some overhang so the paper is easy to pull up and remove later.
Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat. Reserve the vanilla aside, if using.
Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and add the vanilla.
Pour into the prepared dish and spread smooth. Place in the refrigerator to chill for 6 hours or overnight.
Once set, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows to make 36 squares. Serve or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Make this microwave fudge instead: Use a microwave safe bowl to melt the ingredients together. Microwave for one minute, stir, then continue in 30 second intervals until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Finish the recipe as normal.Serve: Let it stand on its own or pair with a cookie or dessert tray. Wrap it in a lined box for an easy edible gift during the holidays.Store: Place fudge squares in an airtight container, preferably separated by wax or parchment paper to prevent sticking, and refrigerate for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Defrost frozen fudge in the refrigerator before serving.
