What’s better than a perfectly cooked steak? When it’s wrapped in bacon, of course! Bacon-wrapped filet mignon requires 5 easy ingredients, 5 minutes of prep, and 15 minutes of cook time - you’ll have a delicious, date-night-worthy dish ready to enjoy in less than 30 minutes. With this recipe, you can enjoy a steakhouse-like meal at home anytime you want to, without the hefty price tag.
Season the top and bottom of each steak with salt. Lay a piece of bacon on a cutting board in front of you.
Place one steak on the end of the bacon strip and roll it up so the cut side of the meat (which you just seasoned) is exposed. The meat should be wider than it is tall. If needed, secure the bacon with a toothpick.
Heat an oven-safe heavy-bottom or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the butter and rosemary. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes on each side. Carefully use tongs to rotate one steak at a time so the bacon touches the pan. Sear each side for 30 seconds.
Return them both upright and transfer the pan to the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 130 °F.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Remove the toothpicks before serving.

Notes
Use only premium quality meat, high-quality butter, and fresh herbs for this recipe - you’ll be able to taste the difference in the final dish.
Pat your steaks dry with paper towels before you season them so that they can caramelize easily and perfectly.
Let the steaks rest once they’re out of the oven so that the juices can redistribute through the meat, resulting in more juicier, more tender steaks.
Soak the toothpicks in water beforehand to keep them from burning in the oven and remove them before serving for a seamless presentation.
Serve: Enjoy seasoned with your favorite spices or topped with compound butter or gravy. Salads, french fries, mashed potatoes, or cooked veggies make great sides for bacon-wrapped filet mignon. For a heartier meal, serve the steaks with rice or pasta.Store: Place leftovers in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 1 month. Thaw frozen steaks in the fridge before reheating. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, or on a wire rack in the oven at 250 F until warm, about 10 to 15 minutes.
